I use the left ear but I am right handed.
That way I can write something down while talking on the phone.

I can only hold the phone to my left ear.
I seriously cannot hear with my right ear and I think its because of my misspent youth....too many years of standing right next to speakers at concerts....
Interesting little sidenote...for most women, the side they use to hear the phone is usually the same side they carry their purse on.......

Have you ever put the phone to ear you don't use? It sounds weird using that ear......
