Absolutely because it mean that people are finally waking up to the truth. Ron Paul is right on every issue. Ron Paul will make the best President since Andrew Jackson and will approach the level of Washington and Jefferson.

There is too much "Politcal Correctness" to have this country ever pull together. Look what happened after 9/11. We all hung our flags and sang songs, and within a week we were back to politics as usual. The gap between the parties has grown to a fever pitch. We can't agree on anything. Unfortunately, the media perpetuates this division, and even encourages it. Ron Paul is a good man with good ideas, but because very few people even listened to the debates, few know where he stands on issues. The Left will turn his views around to be UnAmerican, and the media will comply. I would love to see a ticket with Ron Paul and Fred Thompson ( in either order), but I doubt that will happen. The onlly chance America has, is if we can put politics aside and think of what is best for America, not what is best for the Republicans or Democrats. If we can find a candidate with that message and He/she can convince enough people they mean what they say, then maybe your dream of a united America will come true. Hope springs eternal.

If you like Patrick Buchannan then you will like Ron Paul.
I have read alt of his articles in the past. However Ron Paul is a paleo conservative. You have to read alot about what this new group believe in. You will be suprised. The only problem is do all americans want this?

Every decade or so a libertarian pops up as a presidential candidate and develops a grassroots following. People generally like libertarian ideals, but these ideals are so radically different from our present state that people are too scared to vote for them. The third-party candidate gets trounced because people decide they'd rather vote for the better of two evils than vote for the radical third party candidate and allow the worse of two evils to win. See the 2000 election as an example of too many people voting for the third party candidate, allowing the far worse of two evils to win.
Also, Ron Paul has a dark history that will come out in the MSM as he becomes a bigger candidate. A newsletter that he published ran an article that was blatantly racist. He claimed it was written by a staffer without his approval, but it was still his newsletter, and he should have kept a better eye on something that carried his name. Trust me, you'll hear a lot about that if Ron Paul becomes a serious threat to the big two party candidates.

I will be voting for him. No one can dig dirt on him, and if they try, they end up looking like partisan or political hacks. And if you call me a Ron Paul spammer, I hope I never have to hear you say something about Fred Thompson, Hillary, or Giuliani/Romney on this Q&A board again. I can understand if people have looked into his stances, and not agree, but if they don't agree solely because he hurts their candidates chances, and don't have anything better to say than name call... I'll call you out on it.

I really like his platform. I think he is the type of person we need right now.
Our government has turned into a bloated bureaucracy so much so that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. It's more hazardous to the people than good.
As of right now, Ron Paul has my vote.

I aggree with a lot of what he says, but also disaggree with a few things. He seems very adamant about leaving Iraq. He was absolutely 100% right when he voted not to go to war, but now that we are it might not necessarily be the right choice to pull out, we have an obligation to those people to fix what we caused... we can't leave them hanging.

I think Ron Paul has some good ideas, and some really radical ideas. His monetary policy and his isolationism will not fly. He is unelectable because he is too abrasive, and would be 100% alienated by Congress, and is promising the stars when he could not even deliver the moon...or a cloud for that matter.
I like some of his ideas...like immigration, for example, but he cannot turn a battleship on a dime.
