My husband got deployed to Iraq when I was 3 months pregnant and miserable with morning sickness. I dropped him off at the air base, went back home and sat on the front porch steps.

I cried so much I made myself sick and threw up.

It was a terrible day!

It's not pitiful... I've been lucky enough to have a really awesome pregnancy.

But the worst thing so far... is that no one can tell I *AM* pregnant. I'm 22 years old... young and excited. This is my first baby... and every baby place I go to people look back and forth between whoever I'm with to find out who the "patient" or "expectant mother is". I need one of those shirts that says "knocked up." I'm 31 weeks along, and someone outside of my family and friends finally asked, "Are you pregannt?" Woohoo!

Another strange thing is the babying...
Dropping me off at the front door to restaurants, not letting me walk, constant questions about how I'm feeling, what *I* want to eat, and if I'm tired and need to rest?
I try to let everyone know that if I need something I'll say something. I'm not shy pregnant lady... And I'm not one of those women with aversions to food. I'll eat ANYTHING! Even things I didn't like to eat before I was pregnant.

If those are my most "pitiful moments" I suppose that's a good thing. My admiration to those who are going through worse.

(The lady with her husband in Iraq - I'm feeling you. My husband recently left the military. He was over there twice... and I can't imagine trying to do everything you're doing right now on my own. You have my support and beyond my admiration. Keep your head up... you'll have a baby and a husband again before you know it! )

No one new I was pregnant,I knew I was but wasn't sure how far.I was young and never got my period regularly.I had bad cramping in the 19th finally went to the hospital on the 21st.(in my mind I figured I was miscarrying but still said nothing to anyone about thinking I was pregnant)They said they thought it was menstrual, gave me some Motrin but did a pregnancy test anyway. It came back positive. Then a sonogram. The technician said "Well, are you ready to be a mother?"I replied when am I due.She replied "12 to 24 hours".I had nothing, not a diaper or a booty. My boyfriend,my family and some members of his family pulled together to get us started. No one could believe I went 9 months and didn't know it until the end.I gained a lot of weight but not just in my belly.I felt like such a jerk. She is now 15 and beautiful and healthy.6 years later we decided to go for # 2 and that pregnancy was so different.I can't believe I went that far without knowing, lol. But I think That first time around was definitely, pretty pitiful,LO.L

I had Hyperemesis gravidarum when i was pregnant with my daughter, i could hardly eat anything and during that time i was a full time student and worked 35 hours a week...I was just in my second trimester and i fainted at work because i had nothing in my stomach to digest and was getting cramps because i haven'e pooped in a few days...and i was told by the emergency room to take gas ex and i threw it up..which was VERY unpleasant....also...when i was further along i was hungery at work so i bought some pre cut apples and they were going down good but about 15 mins later i had to run outside because they all came up..it was like throwing up VERY chunky apple sauce

I remember with my first pregnetcy I got as big as a barn, everyone kept asking me if I was caring more than one baby, then when I would get on the elavator sometimes people would get off saying sorry its just weight compassity. I'm telling you I was getting pretty feed up with some people out there, although I think alot of them thought they were pretty funny. Then the worst happened to me and I must say it would have to be my most embarsing moment of my life. When I was about eight months pregnet I was at the hospital with a freind and I needed to use the pay phone. Well they were these small wooden enclosed with door phone boths, well these kind of phone boths won't work unless you can fully close the door. So I had to squez into one of these phone boths in order to close the door behind me. Well when it came time to open and get out, I found that I was stuck inside and traped. So I started yelling for help until someone got the ganitor, they had to take the door off the phone both and greas me down with vasoline in order to slide me out. As all this is going on of course I had quite an addiance watching the hole thing when they got me out everyone started claping. Now I don't know about you but thats a pretty pathetic pregnecy story if you ask me. Then I remember when I did finally go into labor I was at a freinds house, so we were getting ready to leave in our car and our friend came out wanting to cheeck out my cars engine, oh come on man I'm in labor. let me go unless you want to deliver right here at your house instead. Boy I tell you the nerve of some people!!!!

When I was 6 weeks pregnant my son's father died in a motorcycle accident. I found out while I was at work. I don't think I have ever cried so much. I remember that day like it was yesterday! My pregnancy just went down hill from there.

At 36 weeks I sprained my ankle and gave my knee a nasty case of road rash. It's been hard enough getting up and down the stairs just being fat and pregnant but the sprained ankle just made it even worse. It's still sore today (that was only like 3 days ago I did it) and it SUCKS!!!

With my 3rd pregnancy I don't know what was wrong with my balance, but I could not help but falling. Everytime I turned around I was falling whether it be down the stairs of the porch or out of our truck. Nothing like that happened with my first 2 pregnancies.

me?
my 1st pregnancy...i do all the household chores at home...my husband did not help.
my 2nd pregnancy...as usual all the chores at home is my work aside from being the bread winner of the family..it so happened that my husband did not have a work that time...during the first trimester, i really suffered so much because i was so picky with foods and so i became thin because aside from not eating much, i had a work that require me to do overtime and at times just 4 to 5 hours sleep and back to work.
on my 4th month of pregnancy i had a motor accident. i fell off a motorcycle.
during my 5th to 9th month of pregnancy, i have to deal with my pregnancy alone..no husband or relatives by my side..with a lot of financial problems haunting me because of my husband.
how i manage it is history...
