It is my understanding that the 2008 will have the 3.6 and not the 3.5. The Yahoo Auto profile for the 2008 lists the 3.5. What's up?

Looks like that's the case on the 6 cylinder seems to be upgraded and allot nicer vehicle all the way around. Standard 2.4L four-cylinder DOHC engine
Available 3.6L V6 DOHC engine
Available six-speed automatic transmission with both engines
Drive Information Center with readouts for engine oil life, tire pressure and more
Factory-installed remote vehicle starter system with climate control available

Maybe it is just a yahoo typo. I was pretty sure I read it was getting the 3.6L because thats a much nicer/more powerful engine than the 3.5L. It goes along with all of the other refinements they have made on the new malibu.

3.6L V6 252hp and 251lb-ft torque at 3200 rpm. sounds good to me
