You don't get stretch marks from delivering the baby. You get stretch marks from being pregnant. Your stomach has to stretch to a HUGE size to accomodate the baby growing inside of you.

Most women see the stretch marks right after they deliver because their stomach quickly shrinks once the baby is out.

Stretch marks most likely happen while you are growing a huge bump and the marks might just appear after delivery.

Stretch marks can be from stretching skin, but also hormones.

You don't get them from the actual labouring of a child.

You don't get the stretch marks from the delivery. Your belly is CONTRACTING at that time, not stretching.

Stretchmarks are from STRETCHING the skin.

Whoever told you that stretchmarks are from delivery was an idiot, and should be slapped upside the head.

Is this a joke, or are you just that young that you don't understand? You carry a child for 9 months and your skin stretches. Don't have children if it's that much of an issue. Any woman that has children get a stretch mark.

Well you push a whole watermelon through a garden hose and tell me if the hose doesn't get a few stretch marks.... And if you break the watermelon you have to start again...
