If one is truly anti-war, shouldn't they make an example of Hillary by not supporting her? If the anti-war compromise for Hillary, what message are they sending to the public?

They are sending the same message all politicians send. They are hypoctrites who change their answers based on the voters numbers.

No, don't compromise. Ensure a Republican victory.

Compromise is not always based on politics--you should really consider some things that aren't talked about in the discussion in Iraq.

Even if you wanted, the Congress wanted, the President wanted an immediate removal of all forces from Iraq, it would still take 20 MONTHS! Yea, almost two years to get them all out. That's what the logistics command is saying. And that's a minimum--if the US troops are leaving--there is a real chance of even higher casualties amongst US forces.

So if someone compromises with the practical reality of the logisitics, or acts to compromise to help save lives of US soldiers (far more vulnerable in a mass retreat) are they thus unworthy of the support of a 'truly anti-war' person?

You should not compromise your believes for any one . Personally its time for someone other than a bush or Clinton its time for some different Ideas because for the last 30 years we have had the same crap and it is not working only for a few and in the long run we all pay dearly.

If you compromise on that issue, are you also compromising on socialism, amnesty, and insanely high taxes, or do you actually believe in those things? She does.
