I do not think there is anything wrong with that question. he needs to be brought to justice and tried for is crimes, Although if caught i doubt very seriously if he will be alive to go to be tried for his crimes, I do not believe if cornered he will just give up.

Because Liberals like to ask that, not because they are looking for answers, but because they want to dog pile Conservatives.
Personally, I don't care Conservative and liberals are opposite sides of the same coin. They are both extremest and there fore when you ask a simple question with a not so simple answer, you get called a liberal or tell you it's because of George Bush's short comings.
I guess to give you a simple answer as to why Bin Laden has not been caught, let me use an example. For years after World War II Japanese soldiers where discovered on islands that where controlled by Allies. The Japanese survived despite living on occupied islands. Bin Laden can easily move within Afghanistan because he knows the area and he has much help and a lot of money.
If he is caught I think he would be more dangerous for one of two reasons. 1) For his crimes the American public would demand his death and that would make him a martyr. Martyrs are far more dangerous because you are now fighting an idea and that is very hard to defeat. 2)It he is sentenced to life in prison, Osama would then become a becon for his fighters, they will fight hard to gain his freedom and once he dies in our prisons, he will become a martyr.
I think the best thing to do is keep him on the run, and off balance. If he dies with his own people he will be remembered for the "Hero" he was to them (I am not saying he is a hero). He will be buried, his memory will inspire them for a while, eventaully he will become a foot note in history. Better a footnote than a martyr.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Osama get his punishment, but I think we have to look at the big picture.

Not everyone wants Osama brought to justice. The history of the Al Qaeda, why they existed, and the relationship between the American political leadership of the time, the industrial military complex, and Osama are not something that people in the know actually want brought out.
In the end, liberals/democrats or republicans/conservatives in power don't want a public trial of Osama, because this history would come to light.
Same reason why they had a mockery of a trial for Saddam Hussein.
Could you imagine if everyone knew the truth, and started asking these questions?

I would not assume anything about you other than that you want to know why Osama hasn't been caught. I certainly HOPE everyone would like to see him brought to justice. That's not a political issue, in my opinion.

He's just waiting for Obama or Hitlery Klintoon to become president, then Osama and all the 'fellas' will be running a country as a 'deal'.

Yes, but you're pointing out a failing of the George W. Bush administration. The 28% of the population that still supports Bush (and most of them post on YAnswers!), sees things in simple, black and white terms: if you criticize Bush, you're against him and therefore a liberal.

Because they think you are criticizing there man Bush, and anyone who says the slightest thing against Bush is a America hating liberal, bent on its destruction.

I don't assume anything about you. I think Osama is dead and they release old tapes now and again with no reference to current events.

Maybe they are afraid of thinking. It appears too many Americans enjoy their corporo-governmental's illusions of reality.
