i havent been eating anything out of the norm. but for the past couple of days (almost a week) i've been having wicked bad heartburn and getting sick in the morning. i just had my period for a month bc i had to take medication to have my period start again and it made everything shed and start over. i'm on a new birth control pill. but im wondering why im gettin heartburn and why im getting sick in the mornings...help.

The new birth control pill that you are on could be causing your heartburn and sick feeling. I was on a bc pill that did that to me. I had to take indigestion tablets like Zantac or Axid everyday to stop the tummy upset. You can get Zantac or Axid over-the-counter or by prescription.
(Don't take charcoal tablets. They can cause your pill to not work, plus they absorb vitamins and nutrients.)

My husband was getting heartburn like crazy as well. He was diagnosed as having acid reflux. He had the Nissen Fundoplication wrap surgery just last year. He was doing fine without anymore heartburn until several weeks ago...the heartburn came back and now he is in the process of going trhough the same process. Now, the doctor has found ulcers on his esophagus! He's having a hard time dealing with all of this....hope this helps!

I don't know why you are getting the heartburn but look for charcoal capsules. They should either be with the vitamins or with the stomach medicines. Charcoal capsules work great on heartburn, gas & bloating. They might help until you & your dr. can figure out what's going on.
