are there any efforts done to overcome juvenile delinquency? if yes, specifically what are they?

i need to find out the efforts and steps taken by the society (e.g. government, family programmes) to show that the society is aware of these teenage problems and have taken steps to handle it.

I think everyone is aware of the problems, and we do have programs, such as community centers, and big brother/big sister, ymca, boys of america...but unless families actually start taking responsibility we aren't going to improve the majority of the situation.
