It's not the words that matter, but the situation. Make it amazing, good luck and use your imagination, she will definitely appreciate it!!

~don't know, but make sure you wait for the right setting. My husband proposed to me in a run down hotel room normaly reserved for raod workers. aka a Dump w/ raod tar everywhere. Not a nice memory, or story to share. I really wish he could have brought me under the stars instead.

If you are the right man she won't care what you say, just how you say it. But if you want it to be special tell her WHY you want to marry her. Tell her WHAT you find special about her and about the two of you together. Most guys don't bother doing this. And it could make a difference between her smiling and crying in joy.

Use whatever method your lady will appreciate....

As my lady and I are BIG texters I asked her by text...

Of course I'd flown her to New York and we were in a Limo on the way to the Plaza when I did it... But text was special for us.... My words were " Cindy, Will you do me the great honour of becoming my wife.... Again"

I bought her ring (a 5K ring) from a jeweler in the Empire State building and we went for Ice Cream in FAO Schwartz.

That worked for us.

Do what works for you.

Say what you honestly feel. anything you say will be just right if this is truly the person for you.

P.S. it's more how you say it anyways.
Hope you have something great planned.

when I met my wife-to-be she was a waitress at a restaurant i liked to eat at. As we dated more she would always "save" a table for me when she knew I was coming to eat. One day I took in a small teddy bear and when I left I put the bear on the table. on one arm was a set of keys to my car and on the other arm was a set of keys to my house. a note underneath asking her to marry me. when i talked to her later that day she gave me a "yes"

Words that come from your heart will mean the most. If she knows you, she'll know what you are saying. Good luck and congratulations!
