Was it a singer, a television show character, who? And is this a favorite memory about when you were a preteen growing up?

Okay, it doesn't have to be that you were a preteen in the 90s to answer this question. :-) Just tell the world something that really amazed you and got you through some patch of your life in the 90s, someone you really admired back then. Thanks!

First my mother is my hero, then my 2 oldest sons and then my third son who was born in 1999 and then all of the employee's at Pilgrims Pride in my home town. I was a 21 years old young man going no were fast when I was hired by Pilgrims Pride. I had recently split up with my high school sweet heart who I had 2 young sons with. She ran off and left my children with me. Most of the people who worked with me were simple people from small country towns. recent citizens of the US and Illegals from Mexico and El Salvador, People who were recovering from divorces or some sort of substance abuse and just easy going country town people. All of them seen something in me I couldn't see in myself. The girls my age gave me tremendous confidence in myself. The older guys gave some great advice and the guys my age showed me how to have fun. I worked at this company from 1994 to 1998 and everyday was a party. Being a young guy with kids I didn't travel or run the streets much. So to work at a company that was so laid back was a blessing. We partied like you wouldn't believe. My mom is my biggest hero because she guided and assisted me with my sons and I truly am greatful to her. My sons are my hero's because they gave me something to live for at a early age. A lot of my friends got into drugs and crazy things. I spent the majority of weekends with my kids so I didn't have time to be self destructive. These are my hero's from the 90's

I was a preteen in the 80's. But in the early 90's as a full blown teenager, my hero was Kurt Cobain. He was the reason why I wanted to be a rock star in the first place.

Hmmmm....I don't think he necessarily would qualify as a hero (He played a bad guy most of the time) but this Japanese pro wrestler called "The Great Muta" came to a city near where I lived. My dad and I went to see him wrestle a few times and I got to see all of my favorites (I had the T-shirt I got from one of those shows until I was a junior in high school).

I was blown away by Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar playing and I was definitely older than a preteen.

I must of seen every season of Hercules on TV as they aired
then again years later on the SCI-FI Chanel. That show was too cool for school...I actually use that as the standard for new shows...I'm usually like...well it was no Hercules but it was OK..
