I mostly have itching in the groin area and also, at times at the base of my penis. 2 qs:
1.what exactly is itching and how is it caused?
2.how to get rid of it?

~Men itch there a lot, but it could be crabs. What causes itching? Just about anything.
To stop itching, shower daily, apply lotion to dry areas, apply hydrocortizone, or take benadryl. Benadryl will make you sleepy, take it at night.~

I'd suggest that you check with a doctor. You could be having an allergic reaction to something common, such as dye in your shorts, or the laundry soap you are using . Or you could have picked up a nasty little bug, and need some medication. Either way a doctor could tell you.

THE BEST THING IS TO GO SEE A DOCTOR. YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME INFECTIONS OR SOME KIND OF INSECTS IN YOUR CROTCH. IF YOU HAVE DIABETES IT MIGHT BE THE CAUSE. TOO.
