Yes it is. The longer someone believes neo-conservatism the more lies they must tell themselves to hide from reality. Their grip on the truth gets looser and looser until they lose all their critical thinking skills. Sad really. Those people need help.

I think they have a skewed version of reality, and won't change their minds in the face of facts, and give loyalty away for no better reason than someone has the same religion as them, but not a mental disease.

I don't think so. Maintaining traditional values of small limited government, lower taxes that increase revenue to the government, and strong defense sound pretty good to me. Now if we could get the Reps. to go back to that, that would be a good thing.

To me it's more about being stupid. neo-cons are slow and they can't really help being slow. They do have a way with spin on any issue. Like the lies they tell to the public.
