it's probably best to tell people individually, don't just drop it into the middle of thanksgiving dinner...

tell those family members who might be the most supportive and they will help you break it to everyone else...

There's no general way.

It all depends on the individual & their family. Telling an open minded family would be quite different from telling a Fundementalist X-ian family.

Best of luck.

Tell them casually and be calm about it..
If you're freaked out about it.. they will be too. Are they homophobic? Because if they aren't then you have nothing to worry about..
If they 'hate' you for it, then what kind of family are they?
Remember that family isn't just people related to you by blood.
Family is people that care about you for who you are =]

every situation is different. Each person has to decide what his first step will be....who will he tell. You want to pick the absolute best person of the bunch to tell to start things off. That is sometimes hard to gauge.

Or I guess another approach is to sit them all down and tell them all at once.

Again, each famility situation is different. So, you have to work on this one.

Throw a "Coming Out" party. Invite all your friends and family. This way you can tell everyone at the same time. Plus.... Hey who doesn't love a party.

i always believe that action speaks louder than word, but in this case if its really necessary just tell it first to the member of your family closest to you whom you think will be supportive and he or she whill help you deliver the message to the rest of your family, and if they can't accept you for who you really are. then its not your problem.

First you should be living on your own, depending on them for nothing. Next I would keep by sexual live private. I don't see why anyone needs to know whom your having sex with, unless you desire the attention.

Talk it out with them, preferably when they are in a more receptive mood, and at a place where they are comfortable for a conversation of this sort.

You know your family better than we do, so you know how to approach each one. Just tell them, they probably know already. They love you and will always love you. :)

I disagree with Jake. (I do like parties, though) Make sure you tell them individually, sometimes a group reaction can be bad.
