I'm thinking you mean, professional or casual attire. I'd crack up if I someone coming to work in a evening dress or tux.
I like dressing professional, nice slacks and a blouse, but right now enjoy the fact that I do not have to dress that way, I wear shorts and t's in the summer and jeans in the winter.
And I think ties look great on guys, I'm sure you look good everyday : >

I wear casual every day cos I work for myself but I was so busy the last fortnight that I completely ran out of clothes. I had to wear my cocktail dress to the shops at 4.30pm and so I put on full makeup too AND LUCKILY I DID BECAUSE I SAW MY EX'S NEW GIRLFRIEND THERE, LOOKING VERY CAZ-U-AAAL. She drove in, saw me getting out of my car and drove off without doing any shopping.
I am not a bloke but ties look very dangerous to me, dangling there to get caught in machinery and get food and drink spilt on them. You can get grabbed and pulled toward someone with the tie. Good if you want to be of course. I wonder how many accidents there have been that were caused by ties. I hardly ever see tie-pins... do blokes lose them or what?

I work in an art gallery, so i get to mix it up each day. It wouldnt be odd for me to wear a suit one day, and a fun funky dress the next. Im also allowed to wear jeans on any day of the week, as long as they are not ripped or dirty...you know, not too casual!
So I enjoy being in between. A suit every day would drive me crazy, but i enjoy dressing up a bit.

needless to say casual clothing. formal clothing are ok yet wayyyyyyy too impractical and stuffy for ordinary use. besides, casual placed on is extra mushy and makes you look extra approachable.

Either or I don't mind. My boss let us wear jeans 2 weeks in a row. It seems to even out here.

I prefer no clothes at work. Of course, I am a housewife (no kids), so I am free to wear as much or as little as I like.

I'm sorry you work in Tieland, that's not good. I usually wear scrubs, a lab coat and running shoes and that's fine with me. You never have to be fashion conscious because it's all hideous. LOL
