Whole beans, once a week. And I keep them in an airtight container on the kitchen counter, not in the freezer, which is so wrong.

i have a stash of instant coffee in case our coffee pot goes kaput or in case hubby or i end up in the hospital because neither one of us can stand hospital coffee and if one of us is in the hospital the other one stays in the waiting room at night
