We are a natural living vegan family (to be), and I am looking for earthy, natural or similar names.

My name is Amber Skye Willow and I love it, as I was born in the morning under an Amber coloured Skye, and my fingers were very long like a willow tree (they still are!).

My hubby-to-be and I have been thinking about names for 1.5 yrs now, and I am one day late for my period (fingers crossed) and this is his favorite name for a boy.

Thom Robert (his name is Robert, so this will be the middle name)
We have 'choosen' Fae for a girl, but this isn't final.

What do you think about Thom Robert and Fae something....

I also like the names, Dhalia, Rowan & Fern for a girl
And Gavin, Sage and Jude for a boy.

What names do you like/don't like. And ANY others would be helpful!

Also forgot to add, I like Rhain, Rayne or Raine for a girl.
And Grey or Gray for a boy.

We are not religious and don't like common names (overly so at least).

Thanks for the imput

Storm is a great name for a boy. I also like Clay. They sound earthy.

I love the name Fae. Very pretty. Don't go much on Fern though. Fae Rowan sounds pretty. Same with Fae Dhalia.

I'd prefer Jude Robert to Thom. That combination is my favourite.

Hope you are expecting and if not, then happy trying!

Thom Robert is very nice. I also love Dhalia, Fern, Gavin, and Jude. I'm not a big fan of Rowan and Sage, but that's personal preference - I don't think they're terrible either.

Some others to consider:

Alethea
Aurora
Demeter
Jericho (Jeri or Echo)
Wren
Willow

Brody
Brock
Clay
Darnell

Good luck, i hope you are pregnant. As for names, What about Brooke, its still in keeping with the theme. Thom is very nice but a little boring. Jude is better. Fae is a little old fashioned. But Skye would be lovely as a first name and it comes from a personal place. Naming bub is the hardest thing to do as they have to have it for life. Good luck.

Hi there. Keeping fingers crossed for you both.
My daughters name is Taliskye. We chose it as we were living in Talisker on the Isle of Skye at the time she was born. Brings back good memories.
My sister has a son called Rowan which I love, and my other halfs sister named her twin girls Arwen Rose and Elizabeth Eowyn...(Yep, she's a Tolkien fan) I like most of the names you've mentioned but agree with someone above that Jude is nicer than Thom.
Hope this helps

I wouldn't go with Fae... it means ugly in spanish.

Think about Flower names. (love Willow by the way) Lilly is one of my favories.

Meadow, for a girl or River or Canyon for a boy

I like Rowan for a boy or Girl... how about Rory.

There are some really neat names in minerals. I like the name Granite for a boy and you could call him Gray.

lol I like Thom Robert, my brother is Thomas Robert.

I like all the names you've suggested. Here's some more unusual names that I've heard and like:

Ferdy and Fuschia (twin girls that I knew), they also had a brother named Phin

Zahrn (boy)

Davin (boy)

My kids names are unusual; Janarra (g) meaning "Beautiful little black girl" or "Sparrowhawk",
Coen (b) "Supernatural being that sounds like thunder",
Kylara Ambrosia (g) "Permanent, always there",
Bindi (g) "Little Thorn" and
Jirrah (g) "Little Kangaroo".
They are all Aboriginal names.

The rest of the unusual and pretty names I know are Aboriginal, so I wont start listing them lol, I'll be here all night.

How about Morgain (may not be correct spelling), it is the Celtic way of spelling Morgan as in Morgan le Faye, which actually means Morgan of the faires.
