I really have never heard of something breaking on the inside of a car because of getting it washed but i have heard of stuff breaking due to hot weather and the inside of the car gets too hot.

It could happen, but if he was cleaning the inside wouldn't the car have been cool down from washing it? If it was so hot wouldn't he know better than to clean it?
My dad ran into me. He was backing up and messed up my passenger door. I wanted to yell at him so bad, but i didn't . It was an accident.
Lame excuses don't correct an accident.
