I don't like to change spelling's of names as a general rule as you go through life always having to correct people. Even having the name Cindy, I still have to tell people how to spell it which drives me nuts. Stay with Isabella, at the end of the day it still sounds the same but will save her a lot of hassle in the future. But if a boy what about Isaac? Beautiful name though. Good choice! Good luck.

I love the name and the spelling! It can be shortened two ways depending on your child- if shes a "girly girl" she can be called Bella, if she's a tomboy, Izzy. I was going to name my daughter Sabella, another different twist for a traditional name, but my husband vetoed it. Good luck!

Honestly, don't do that. She'll spend her life correcting people's spelling. The first thing I think when I see a spelling like that is: "Poor kid, Mom must have been really dumb"

Don't do that!

I notice you're using only one z but two ls
How about Izzabella or Izabela ?
Or how about the Spanish spelling Isobel ?

Doesn't really make that much of a difference. If u want to spell it differently why not make it yzabelah or izahbela.

That's pretty - not too far out in the spelling.
