Well, I think if it was flat, with all the safety issues around these days, they would have a huge fence around the edges to protect everyone, or else the unions would be up in arms. And if you were to fall off, of course, you would just fall into space and die from lack of oxygen. But think of the benefits of a flat earth for space travel. They would not have to use so much rocket fuel to launch a spacecraft, and coming back in would be so much easier, they could just fly on and off the edge of the earth. We could just sweep our rubbish of the edge, like cleaning a mat, but boy, what a mess outer space would be. Hope you enjoyed my theory. Janet

If the world was flat, I don't think you'd be able to fall off. I have no idea why, it's just my odd sense of logic. I do think that the gap between rich and poor would be greater. the rich would live on the top side of the planet, basking in the sunshine and enjoying the spoils of a rich and fertile land. The poor would live on the dark underside, suffering eternal night and living in smog filled squalor.

cuz if you got to the end then the gravity from the other side would pull you so hard you would fly up the other side and wish you didnt have any broken bones.

If there was still a center of gravity, you will probably be pulled directly onto the other side of the earth.
