The Toyota Tercel had a numebr of names in different markets/countries including Corolla and Corsa and Soluna.

Opel (and in England Vauxhall) make a current model called the Corsa allthough it also had been called a Nova in the UK
Companies often re-name cars for different markets for their own reasons. The Ford Mondeo (outside of US and Canada) was lauched as a world car , and hence the name, but in the States and Canada it was called the Contour .

A car called the Vauxhall Chevette in the UK was the GM "T" car and known as the Pontiac Accadian.
