what could be wrong?...i've never had this....is is very painful

Because of how badly they are hurting you the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to have this evaluated by your doctor to see what they think could be causing it.

From the time I started my period at age 14 until I was in college leg cramps were the ONLY type of menstrual cramps I had. The abdominal cramps didn't occur until I was about 18 or 19 (the leg cramps continued). One thing that really helped was quinine sulfate (you can get it in a capsule) Ask your doc about it or ask the pharmacist if he sells it w/out a scrip-OTC.
