My house was on fire before and I didn't think to grab anything. I just kept saying to myself, "Ok, the kids are gone!" BUT if I was able to use my brain in a time of tragedy, I'd think to grab my purse and CDs and car keys.

Fire extinguisher first. Then anyone and any pet. Everything else important is put into a fire proof safe.

My 4 dogs and 3 cats.The rest is just stuff with no real importance.Cant take stuff with you in your coffin.Life is way more important than anything you acquire.Stuff can be replaced but life and love cant.
