well, small and large is a very relative measurement, right? i am sure it would be easier to compare that size into a more commonly-used standard size in US. I would say that size 6-8 is more or less equal to XS or S size or around 0-2 or 2-4 by US size depending on the brand.
hope this help.

It depends, everyone is different, it depends on your height and statistics etc. but I do believe that is smaller than average. The average woman in the UK is a size 12-14 now. I am a size 12 and am 5ft 8" tall, 10 stone 8lbs in weight with 34D boobs and have a 30" waist and 32" leg. That is classed as completely normal statistics for my height.

hey--I'm not trying to be harsh or anything...at all. but that's more of an average size...most people from other countries are a bit slimmer than Americans are. when u actually go to other countries you can tell that just about every one is smaller(not necessarily shorter). you feel awkward.(kinda off topic but you do) but it depends on your age too. if you are a teen, it is probably average(or possibly just a bit big), if your in your 20-30s its small, and older than that, its WAY small!

It all depends on how tall you are, if you are 5ft then i would say its OK but if you are 5ft6 upwards maybe a size 10 would be better. I'm nearly 6ft and a size 12 and Ive been told I'm the perfect size for my weight and height. i would love to be slimmer but i would look like a lolly pop!!!!!

If its the way you are built naturally its OK. If you are dieting to get to that size thats a problem. If its natural you are lucky. My husband is naturally thin and its more a problem for me as I have to work hard to keep within his range or when we're together I just look like a blob

It all depends on height if your short i.e. 5ft it's fine if your tall i.e. 5ft7 then it looks too small and you'd better suit being a 10 or 12
