Nothing would be any different than it is today.
In the days when women were still agitating for the vote it was stated as an absolute certainty by Suffragette leaders that once women had the vote there would be an immediate end to war, government oppression and poverty.
As you can see they were correct...right?
Obviously not.
Consider the record of elected female heads of government. They have been no better and no worse than their male counterparts.
The United States never had better leadership than the all male Founding Fathers. Does anyone seriously believe that either Hillary Clinton or Ann Coulter deserve being placed in the same class as Thomas Jefferson or John Adams? (Indeed, does anyone think George Bush or John Kerry measure up in that regard).
The failure or the successes of governments are based on the Chief Magistrate's education, intelligence and character.
None of those qualities is determined by gender (or race or religion or sexual orientation or national origin) and it is the no better than the crassest bigotry to suggest that they are.

The short answer is it wouldn't really change anything.
Women make life, men make death. This is the nature of things. The balance is everything.
For every life sustaining meal you ever had, something died.
The feminine aspect of humanity is the part that gives birth and nurtures children. But children have to eat.
The masculine aspect of humanity is the part that acquires resources. Males kill animals for food, or other humans to defend territory. Men are biologically tweaked to desire and acquire power.
Now if somehow, say by the edict of God, only females could hold political office. Nations ruled by women adopting masculine personas would dominate those ruled by more feminine women.
What would happen if femininity ruled? Well, pretty much what's happening now. America and Europe have both shifted feminine. This is evidenced by our mutual view on illegal immigration. The feminine view of nurturing compassion toward the illegal immigrant is considered noble. The masculine view of cracking the skulls of transgressors is considered brutal and racist. So illegal immigration proceeds essentially unchecked.
But the immigrating populations are not feminized. Both Hispanic and Islamic cultures have high gender polarization, which is why their populations are growing rather than declining.
The end result, by conquest or ethnic dilution, is the re-masculinization of the feminized culture.

I agree with Pia. There have been queens, women presidents and prime ministers in the past.
Today, there are several women presidents and queens throughout the world, and things are more or less the same under their rule.

Men would spend allot of time moving furniture around the house "just to see how it would look" no more boxing, football, NASCAR history, the Budweiser commericals would no longer be funny. Driving anywhere would be hell.
Toliets would be made with seat that do not fold up. ANd they would probably be pink and furry. Daytime TV would be moved to prime time.

I'd LIKE to think there would be BUT .. how many of us have worked in an all woman work force ... or been in a situation where we're all hormonal at once ..

They do in some places.
It's no different from a man ruling.
It's 2007, not the 1950's. Get with the program.
