pretty much. most of the 'formers in the movie weren't even gen 1 'formers. most of them didnt come along till much later or were just invented. and they got a lot of the car types wrong. jazz wasnt a solstice, megatron wansnt a spaceship, bumblebee wasnt a camaro, frenzy wasn't whatever he was, ironhide wasnt a "topkick", and devastator was a combination of 5 other decepticons that formed one super robot. he wasnt the tank thing he was in the film. hopefully in the next one they will get these mistakes corrected. though i did love the film and thought barricade and blackout both looked awesome despite the mistaken vehicle types. prime looked awesome too. NOTE: "formers originally written to appear in the film, optimus prime, bumblebee, ironhide, jazz, prowl, ratchet, wheeljack, megatron, starscream, soundwave, ravage, laserbeak, rumble, skywarp, shockwave. obviously that didnt happen. bummer.

They would've made Bumblee a VW Beetle like in the original toon except Lindsay Lohan beat them to the box office with the Love Bug a few summers ago : P

Simple... Transformers would win hands down. Gundams are piloted by humans and humans do get tired.

No. They were created for the movie but their names allude to existing Transformers.
