Quite possibly other universes which we cannot see they are all closed systems from light cannot escape. All of these universes must exist in the great void which is the only infinity.

The statement "outside the universe" is tricky. If there is anything "outside" the universe, it would still be part of the universe because the "universe" means EVERYTHING.

If you mean what exists very far away from what we can see with mordern telescopes, etc there would be no way of knowing what is there because we have not seen it yet!

However, it might be of interest to know that there is a possibility that the universe is round, just like the earth. If you go very far away in one direction, you will eventually come back to the same place. This would essentially mean that there is nothing that is exactly "outside" anything else!

Who in the world gave you the impression that there is an "outside?"

How can one postulate the composition and makeup of the outside of a whale from within its stomach?

Have you any comprehension of the vastness of the Universe as we understand it right now?

We can already "see" out to distances of 40 Billion Light Years in all directions from Earth. How can one possibly discuss something beyond distances at which we can observe present objects? The only way to do that is to speculate, and theorize - guess, and dream. Those efforts are more or less fruitless and produce nothing valid for the average man in the street.

Nothing. Not even time. Not even light. Not even events.

The Universe expands at a slowing rate, but it has not been proven yet... what is really outside the sphere...

Tell me what is north of the north pole, and I'll tell you what's outside the universe.

Nothingness. The same thing that awaits us 10 seconds from now. It is non-existence right now, but in about 5 seconds it will be "now", then a second later it is "the past".
