I used to plan ahead wherever possible - but now that I'm a little older, I like to just go with the flow a lot more.

I'm similar in ways to you - with time and possible maturity, life has changed in many different aspects for me, and I'm less uptight and controlling; instead, more free and casual.

Probably my most used quote from a movie, by the infamous Tyler Durdan:

I like to go with the flow but I tend to plan ahead to make sure I can be in the right place at the right time or be certain that my parents don't find out what I'm doing (usually the latter is more important). But stuff seems more fun when it's spontaneous.

Planning ahead, usually gives all sorts of advantages. But, there is the risk of plans going awry. Lucky indeed, are those who get the best, when they just go along with the flow! In this second case, there is no chance of plans going awry, since no plans have been made, at all!
