" Hello mum, I arrived safely"

I have always thoroughly enjoyed the sound of horses hooves on pavement or the sound of car tires on gravel. I do not know what is up with that, but it is true.

The loveliest sound ever, other than the first cry of baby, is whale song. Hands down. Have you ever listened to it? Listen to whale song and then think about this next question. Did you hear a hint of anger or rage or any type of hate in the whale song? That is why it is the loveliest sound.

There are so many sounds ... I shall mention few:

1) My manager saying: "I'll recommend a raise for you". That was more tender than my mother's singing me to sleep when I was a baby..

2) A moaning sound accompanied with heaving breathing saying my name ...

3) My father's when he says: okay, I'm leaving (baddak shi?)

4) My cat Donut's purring sound.

5) Don't laugh, but I love the sound of the army personnel carriers' as they pass by. They bring nice memories when I was in the army.

Enough for now.

Just listening to my baby niece breathe, it is like nothing else. She makes tiny sounds like she's trying to say something, but she just takes it easy and her cool breath on my shoulder is like kisses from an angel. It's amazing to have a life in your arms so precious. Chloe, please get me some tissue.
