That was a pretty big baby at 25 weeks, most just weight about 1 1/2! Of course ultrasound measurments can be wrong. Either way, around 34 weeks, the average baby weights around 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long, according to babycenter.com.

My Daughter-in-law is 34 weeks to! Her Doctor told her Alyssa weighs approximately 5 lbs and 11 ounces.

That is huge for 25 weeks. If the weight was right you might have a bigger than average baby. My friend had her son at 25 weeks and he was only 1 pound 5 ounces. Also, my son was born at 29 weeks and was only 2 pounds 15 ounces and my doctor said that was several ounces bigger than other babies born at that gestation.

you could go to pampers.com and look at the pregnancy calender. it goes by weeks. it could give you a rough estimate of about how much your baby weighs right now.
