Get the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener. It's considered the best straightener on the world and you can get it at Folica.com for a lot cheaper then other places.

Amanda, what ever you do DO NOT use straightener on your own hair! The chemicals in those products are the most caustic chemicals that can be used on hair, period. You can cause breakage of your hair so bad that it breaks off not far from the scalp -leaving it look like you shaved your head.

This is a process you must have done by an EXPERIENCED hairdresser. Either stick with your flat iron, or spend the money to have it done.

its taking so long cause your using really crappy straightenors try a CHI one it works great on spiral curly hair so i think it would work for yours. Its about $100 but its worth it. thats all i use. oh and its a ceramic one so it leaves your hair soft and make sure you get a skinny one not a fat one those are really crappy. they DONT work. believe me =]

Yes, use Conair. They have this new one that's red and kind of wide. I have thick curly hair and it only takes me like 40 mins to straighten it.
