If your car is spewing white smoke- you have a blown head gasket. You shouldn't keep driving it, eventually it'll stop working- take it to a mechanic, it's not cheap to fix though.

If the temp is cold outside it is normal to see white smoke, as the exhaust is hotter than the temp outside. However if you have white smoke and a sweet smell(put your hand over the tailpipe and smell), you will definately be smelling coolant. That is, if you dont have only water in your radiator. If your coolant level is going down, thats your indicator. If the cars temp raises higher than normal on occasion or often thats an indicator, if you dont have heat comming out of your heater or cool than hot temp thats an indicator. This problem is a head gasket. Firstly you can try to add small beads, you could find them in your local parts dealer. This is an additive to your radiator and if the problem is small..it should correct it. If this does not help and your car doesnt overheat, keep your fluid full and it shouldnt get worse. The most epensive repair is the headgasket. $500-$1500. Hope this helps

It's water vapor,............. from either condensation, or possible a blown gasket.
There is a test done on the water in the radiator to tell you if it's a head gasket, (most likely source).
Long explanation, ask your mechanic

Check your coolant level. You may have a head gasket starting to fail. If this only happens when you first start up then it is condensate and no cause for alarm.

Sounds like a gasket is leaking water into the cylinders.
