Lastly, you will need a Health Card from the Southern Nevada Health District before you can work in a restaurant. Here is info on how to obtainone of them...

One more thing that applies to getting any job in Las Vegas. You may need to move their first in the blind before landing a job. Companies in town are weary of wasting time on an applicant from out of town. They may not ever more there and if they do, they may not stay as it is not the easiest town to live in. Almost as many people leave each month as move in.

Ideas for what? Where to work? You probably won't get hired on the Strip right off the bat - it's rare that they take anyone who has no experience in one of the other Strip properties.
