Even if the baby is lactose intolerant, the minute amount of milk they would ingest shouldn't cause a problem. I would try giving him, (you never said which...), a tiny tiny piece to see if he will even try it.

My ped recently told me that our 9-month-old daughter should begin eating whatever it is we eat (provided it's not something like burgers and fries obviously!) and it never crossed my mind to ask about foods that were made with cow's milk. I would say go ahead and feed it to your child provided s/he can chew well and the casserole won't become a choking hazard. You might want to check with your ped, just to be sure.

Yes, as long as your baby doesn't have a milk allergy and you would probably know about it by now if s/he did.
Home made foods are great for babies, just make sure that the lumps of meat are chopped up well. I am sure that your baby will love it

Milk is fine.
It would probably be the fat content in the beef that would be harder to digest than the milky parts.
It also sounds like it'd require way more chewing than a 9 month old is capable of.
It probably won't hurt him, but I wouldn't risk it - he could choke and/or have a very ouchy tummy.

If you are doing table food already...it most likely won't be a problem; but at this age I would continue with individual foods to help identify any possible food allergies....especially if there is a family allergy history.

Yes you can. Just make sure it's in very little pieces. Better yet a food processor a little bit. If not mash it up with a fork.

YES, you can, but I would put it in the food processor. My son at this age LOVED my homemade beef stew. I just blended his up. He got a lot of homemade meals at this age, and he will be 3 next month and he eats all kinds of fruits, veggies, etc. Not a picky eater at all.

If your child has teeth and can chew.. then you could try giving him/her a little bit. But follow your instincts... if you don't feel it would be safe/ok, don't do it :) you're the mumma, you will know best in the end :)

Oh, not yet. The baby cannot easily digest it. Don't be impatient. Soon enough, the baby will soon have his/her share of the food you will prepare :)
Have a nice day and GOD BLESS THE CHILD :)
