Sexual attraction isn't voluntary; it's a primal drive that whispers constantly in the back of your mind. Always looking, evaluating, judging. Without that primitive but necessary urge, would males & females still be friends? If you look at the gay community, it often looks like they'd each be happy with a single-sex world. Without sexual attraction to pull them together, they seem content to mostly ignore the other sex, sometimes they're downright hostile. Sometimes I think without the sex drive we'd live on opposite sides of the planet! Or maybe we'd have gone to war long ago (battle of the sexes?). Of course the reason a gay person goes to an all-male/all female place is because of the sex drive too, so without it would we all be just little solitary islands? Feeling no connection to anyone beyond instinct? Should I stop trying to think this stuff through and go to sleep? ;-)

Yes, if we were made without our private parts, don't you think we would still like each other. God put the sexual drive there for reproducing. After a certain age, it goes away, unless you take Viagra, or whatever. The urge to have sex and reproduce does calm down after a certain age. People are best friends, and love each other still, when they no longer desire sex. You just have not gotten to that point yet. Yes, go to sleep and one day you will know, but for the time being, you just have to put up with being horny.

honestly i dont like hanging out with girls....i perfer hanging out with guys.....i guess its an insecurity thing but i feel like i have to compete (physical appearance) with the other girl....i know its silly but my entire life i actually got along alot better with guys then girls! that includes preschool!
