Why do we make most of everything in China then in U.S.A. ? We have the Tech. , Brain and labor and know-how.

Because they can pay Chinese workers less and there are no enviromental regulations in China on the factories which would also cost them more to do it in the USA plus the real estate to rent or build in the USA is more.

Its all about money. Most technological advances are developed in the USA, they just implement them in other places most of the time for those reasons.

Why pay an american 40,000 a year when they can pay the people from china or india 5,200 a year?

It'a actually cheaper to ship raw materials to China, manufacture them into goods and then ship them back to the US than it is to do the whole thing here.

Imagine what a dvd player would cost if we paid a 23 dollar an hour union member to build it, add to that, all the insurance benefits, and perks, you wouldnt be able to afford it. Cost is why.
