Almost all countries are Materialistic.including third world and even the poorest. The major difference is that all such countries have negligible or almost negligible 'MATERIAL[resources, wealth],either to think of / to work on or to live with . But the aspirations, desires .wishes, dreams and hopes of their people are predominantly full of beautiful homes, grand meals, latest cars, lavish life styles and abundance of money. All said and done,America is a capitalist country and doesn't pretend to be some thing else.

Texas,

Remember WE ARE NOT part of America. This is whole another different country. Our travel slogan says it all...

Give me a horse, beer and a corn and that is my world.
