I think real culture you live and do not need a effort to bring into your life ! What you see as culture is not necessary culture to me ! It can range from beating a drum in the field to visiting the state theater ! I live my culture by the way I socialize , go to church and make music myself with my friends ,even down to the way I do business !

Usually a person can't suddenly decide to bring culture into their life.
When a child is born, they are civilized by their parents.
One of the first things they learn is to cry for their needs.
It is up to the parents to meet their needs in an efficient manner so they don't learn how to become spoiled, by crying for what they want.
Teaching a child how to eat with their mouth closed.
Set the table, just as you would set if the president were coming to dinner and teach them the etiquette that goes with eating each meal.
When they grow up, who knows, maybe they may need the skill and the demeanor required to dine with some one of importance.
Read to them for twenty minutes every night.
Spend time teaching appreciation for the arts and music.
Take them to Museums.
Get them involved socially with dance, music and art etc.
This list goes on and on.
Organize your own life, therefore they will learn to be organized.
You don't have to go to training school in order to well mannered and accepted socially as long as you have an example to follow.
Get involved in you local PTA when your children are in grade school and move on to other things as they grow older.
When the time come to bring culture into their life they will not have to ask how or what should they do.
They will already have done the things you have mentioned.
Just start doing one thing at a time and see what is the most enjoyable thing you like to do.
Use the Internet to learn more about art, plays etc.
I have done all the things I have listed and I was a very busy woman.
It has paid off in the end.
My kids are married with children and anyone of them could sit down and dine with the President and not feel to terribly out of place.
I have never stopped learning and I have a deep interest to know a little something about everything.
I don't mean to brag but I did feeel like I should answer your question to the best of my ability.
I'm 72 years old now and I finally can relax and watch in amazement how well mannered and I can see the different degrees of culture that they have inherited from my being on top of everything that involved their growing into adulthood.

I'm a sucker for a good theater production, but I don't often get the opportunity to attend real quality theater.
