good answer Vaughn, my research show's that an educated person has a good grip on history and would know that really good people have paid a price because they believe and believed that they wanted to leave a better place for humans to live, a flag burner most times only wants thier eath better and to disrespect those selfless acts is a heavy load. agree?

The US Constitution says that we have freedom of speech, even speech we find personally offensive. Examples for me would be the American Nazi Party, KKK, Hustler Magazine...

Burning of the American flag although offensive has usually be done in times of extreme division as a symbol of protest. I was a teenager in the 60's and never burned a flag but did burn my draft card in protest. In some eyes that would make me a traitor, in some eyes and idiot but in my eyes it was a patriotic act of civil disobedience.

Intriguing question. Just which flag is yours? :-)

FWIW, I try not to disrespect anyone's flag. I do not, however, believe we need a Constitutional ammendment against "flag burning," since there have been no roving gangs of flag burners in the USA since... ever, and I don't think we need to carve up the Constitution to protect against something that only occasionally happens.

And I have a Master's Degree. Which I only mention because you asked.

Yes, I would mind.

What I or anyone else says about any flag, yours or anyone else's, is up to them. At least in the US, that's freedom of speech.

I don't have to like what someone says, but I'd defend their right to say it. And defend their right against someone trying to silence them.

No - because freedom of expression is a constituional right whereas nosiness about my education is not.

What are you talking about? If its about disrepecting USA then you`ll know that the USA deserves it sometimes. I dont need a PhD to know and see that.
