I did on valentines day... neither of us had much money so i made a mixed tape and wrote a long love letter going song by song as to why i chose that song... I didnt make a mix cd and say here hope you like it.. i explained why te songs had significance

I make mix cd's for friends all the time. It can really show that you put some time and consideration into something you thought one specific person might enjoy.

I've made CDs for people but just random like, I've never given it as a present for a "present giving occasion."

yeah i gave some mix cd's and recieved them its a great way to give someone a whole lotta hit songs

No, but I have received one as a gift. I really liked it as it was a compilation of my favorite songs.
