Why do girls like yaoi so much?

Im just curious as to why a lot of girls (not all) like yaoi.
Personally i think its really adorable, and seeing two (or more.. O_O) of your favorite characters together is really....well, hot. xDD
Though, most of the famous yaoi couples are very adrogynous(very femminine looking) why is it that (you)girls like that?(including myself xD)

I think girls like it because of the emotional appeal. I have to admit that I am one of the avid yaoi fans, and I've seen a lot of different types of couples in yaoi, some of them ranging from being shota-incest. I think girls like it because of the fact that it isn't that accepted and is considered to be the forbidden fruit, but personally I don't see any problem with it, love is love.

Plus the number one reason IT'S SOOO HOOOTTT!!!!!!!!!

Girls like Yaoi because it's always romantic, no matter what the main plot is. To girls, it doesn't matter if it's girls and guys, girls and girls, or guys and guys. We just like romance, right??? I think it's something in our DNA
Besides, in most Yaoi anime, the pairs often include one feminine male, and one domenating male. The feminine characters often take on jobs around the house, such as chores, and normally take jobs females would.

In Sukisho (Or, Sukisyo) there are many examples of this;
-Shinichirou and Nanami; Shinichirou (playing the part of the dominating male) is out-going, immature, and somewhat perverted. While Nanami (playing the part of the feminine male) is shy, quiet, and quite girly. Both work at an all boys school. Shinichirou is teh math teacher, while Nanami is the school nurse. At their home, Nanami does all the cookoign and is quite good at it.
-Nagase and Ichikawa; Nagase is the dominent male by far, as most would never think he was homo-sexual, while Ichikawa is the feminine male. Both members of the physics club, they seem to play the same occupation. But, that is WRONG!!! Nagase is the captain, or senpai (senior), thus proving his dominance. Ichikawa is but merely a member who admires his captain to an extreme extent. Basically, it's like a celebrity and a fangirl. One being powerful, while the other is near to powerless, over taken by charm or their superiors.
-Yuro and Ran; Yuro and Ran are both split personalities. Yuro being Sora's (the main character of the series) and Ran being Sunao's (the secondary character). Yuro plays the part of the dominent. He is very charming, strong, determined, and again, somewhat perveterted. Ran, on the other hand, is whiney, girly, and pretty defenseless.
-Sora and Sunao; these two are probably considered to most people, an exception to my theory. For, they are both hot-headed, strong, determined, and egoistic; the characteristics of the dominent male. But, thus, they are not. Looking deeper than normal people would, I discovered a few things about each of them that most would consider nothing at first glance, but looking harder and classifying these characteristcs, I have managed to establish a correct theory about the entire show::

-Sunao plays the part of the feminine male, as he established a crush on Sora early on in the show. Girls often tend to establish these feelings before boys in real life, but attempt to hide it; just as Sunao did. Also, the revenge plot against Sora was very feminine in my personal opinion. If a girl can't get a guy, what do they do??? Either try harder, or attempt to make the boy's life a living hell; again, Sunao did this.
-Sora plays the role of the dominent male. Making the first move in episode 10 was a key to my theory, but there were signs even before that. After discovering Sunao was afraid of water while in the White Dragon Club, Sora took his place and had to work twice as hard for him to be able to join. Thus, protecting Sunao, just as a boy would a girl.

The appearances of feminine males in Yaoi tend to be quite girly. So, girls often forget the gender of the character, due to their feminine ways. Most boys however, think that guy's should be friends, so Yaoi disgusts them. Despite many efforts of trying to establish a cover for the feminine males, most guys will still perceive them as being male.

Thus concluding something I like to call, 'Sangovengence's Yaoi theory', here is the final point; Girls like Yaoi because they can see beyond the characters' gender, while boy's cannot.

Girls rule, boy's drool cause they're so dumb and egoistic that they can't even realize IT'S JUST A SHOW!!!

Because...because it's just soo cute to see two femminine looking guys on top of each other xD. I dunno, I'm a new yaoi fan. I didn't think it was hot till a couple of weeks ago. I guess it's kinda like guys seeing to girls. But I have a feeling something is different about it.

Well I think of yaoi as a sort of fantasy. And i pair up my fave characters that go well together (not just femminine looking!). But then thats just me!!
