I actually went when i was younger with my parents and uncle the van we were in was dirty so we put it on neutral close to the train tracks then a couple minutes later we were pushed across out of nowhere we got down and saw the little handprints they were all of children I remember my dad comparing them to mine and my younger cousins.

ive heard of this, i even saw it demonstrated on tv once, its not ghosts though heres the deal .......the road appears to be up hill but in fact its an optical illusion and its a slight downhill slope instead, the reason why baby powder leaves hand prints is because oil left on the cars paint from your own hands when you touch your car by opening the trunk or whatever sorta repells the baby powder more then the areas that werent touched ,so when the car is slowly bumping "up" the hill the majorty of the baby powder clings but where the hand prints were there it falls off leaving supposed ghostly finger prints, its no different then how the police use powder to get fingerprints for evidence. it is a fraud but i beleive it bgean as an honest one. a bus full of children DID die there though when a train came through and hit them, the streets in the area are nemed after many of them.

It is an urban legend, and it exists in other states besides Texas, and in other countries besides America. It is an optical illusion that works due to the build of the road in relation to the geography of the location. Just do a web search or go to Wikipedia and type in "gravity hill/s". I think that you'll be surprised as to how many exist in the world, and as to how none of them have to do with ghosts (except for the tired superstitions that are tied to most of them).

Yeah, it's an old legend but it's since been proven that it is actually a slight downhill.

The prints are from your own hands, the powder brings them out.

There never was a bus accident. From here:
http://www.legendsofamerica.com/TX-GhostlyChildren.html

"However, in support of the San Antonio residents, there are no records of any such accident having ever occurred in the newspaper archives anywhere in Texas."

Also, the streets have do child's names. These are rumored to be the names of the dead, but actually belong to the children of the neighborhood's developers.

Hope this helps!

I had heard this story several times on different accounts but, I am sure it is the same story you are detailing.
It has been on several tv shows... like Unsolved Mysteries years ago and on Discovery channel's haunted segments.
I believe it is very possibly real. With all I saw about it!
It's eerie!
Don't worry you are not crazy!
This realm of the unknown will make one crazy, though!
