I joined and I won`t shop there .
They are anti union ,They treat their help like crap, won`t give benefits ,sell foreign made junk, worry more about rich shareholders than they do about their workers health, are way to big and powerful ,have the politicians eating out of their hands ,and they just are a dirty company.

I try to shop at walmart as little as possible but alas they sell me my meds much cheaper than anywhere else! When local stores offer meds at discount prices near what walmart does I will buy from them!
As for most other things I only shop local stores but try to find many products just made in America is tough!
You still drive a car and use gasoline dont you?
How many home electrical items do you own and how many are made int he USA?
Scare tactic hype poison juice and lead based paint!Rememeber Tylenol and ppl still use them!
American jobs now that is pushing the bridge a little far cause how many ppl will be out of work if walmart would close!
Worry more about all the major manufacturers that have sent jobs away already!I dont see all the radicals boycotting the big 3 automotive industry and why?And what about oil?

i through it might have been boycott them because of lack of support for people disability. To why the question posted in the disability section. Lack of accessibility I don't have wal mart any way in Australia.

Any way sometimes the store you pay more get goods from China too. And they don't pass on the discounts.
I think we should buy more Australian made.

Walmart will hire the disabled only if 1) they can trot them out for publicity shots - 'see we hire the handicapped' and 2) if they can get the government to cover 60% or more of their salaries. They don't give a rats patootie about the disabled, just their bottom line, hence the government give backs and tax breaks.

I may have signed a petition like over a year ago but not a full on boycott. My major problem with Wal-Mart is that there's no other places in my town to shop and they edit their CDs.

My daughter works at Wal Mart. She couldn't find any other place that would hire her and work around her college schedule. She also have full benefits and profit sharing.
As for buying American, I would love to but can't even find a hairbrush that is made in America.
I used to work in a factory but it moved to Mexico, so really I know your frustration, but Wal Mart didn't cause it, it only exploited an existing condition

I didn't know there was a boycott of Wal Mart. I go where the prices are cheapest. I never buy their meat. It tastes terrible. Sometimes it is spoiled. It costs more than at our local grocery store.

It Isn't just WAL-MART that sells foreign
made products.

Didn't you know that most of the things
In the USA are made In China.

Start at the Top, and that's not with
WAL-MART.

It's BIGGER then WAL-MART.

I just don't shop there and neither does my family.

It is a disgusting chain that does nothing to take care of their employees.

I would rather spend a few extra dollars to shop at a store that treats their employees well and buys American made products.

But that's just me...i'm not poor.
