Has a Witch ever had such good friends?

Question

this is from me to all my Witch and pagan friends who responded to my moment of despair, when I was thinking I should give up trying to get Christians to understand us, that we aren't evil, etc. You guys were a light for me at the end of a tunnel, a brigde holding me up, a cool hand on my brow and a shoulder to cry on. You know who you are, you all gave me so much moral support and great advice. I think I will rest from trying to get Christians see reality for the time being. It is too much work and this summer is just too beautiful. All your answers were best answers, because you all said more or less the same thing, and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate it.

Morgana. you are MOST welcome. Yes, we ARE a tight community (ALL those who ARE Witches and those who UNDERSTAND who and what we are) and we tend to support and love each other. If you have noticed we tend to "practice" Christianity MORE than the Christians. When THEY post a request for prayers, WE gladly offer ours in the FULL spirit of what prayer SHOULD be. An offering of the heart, with NO intent of gaining for ourselves. Christians preach the WORDS of Jesus, who said to love those who would be your enemies. Yet, I have RARELY seen a Christian offer a prayer that didn't have an ulterior motive behind it (they pray for our conversin to their viewpoint). We don't do that, we offer the prayer for the purpose that it was requested and leave it at that. We pray for even those who would be our enemies. We ask that their health be returned, that their hearts be comforted and we don't even CARE whether or not they are willing to "see' thngs from our perspective. We pray for their well being and they pray that WE "see the light", which is a very selfish prayer from MY perspective.

I can understand your weariness in trying to get them to understand where we are coming from. That is the burden that we chose to pick up when we made the decisions to follow our paths. It's a load that I accept, willingly, as do many others as well. It IS acceptable to "take a break" from it once in a while, however. Goddess doesn't want us to undergo the stress continuosly and expects us to rest occasionally. Your decision is a GOOD one to take. If you are unable to put ALL of your spirit into something then it IS best that you hold off until you are more able to do so.

May Goddess hold you dearly in her bosom and comfort you and heal your spirit. Blessed love to you, Morgana in ALL that you choose to do.

As I always say, I love everyone, regardless of faith, but Pagans and Wiccans hold a special place in my heart. I really don't know why, but you do. Perhaps I may find out in the future.

I find it hard to stand intolerance of any form, but when it's unfair, it's even worse. Know that I will remain true to our shared beliefs, and open-minded to those that we don't share, as I do with all people.

I hope this note of respect reaches you happy, and raises your mood.

It is quite true that most of us have never had so many friends in the physical world as we do here. That's the beauty of this communications opportunity.

But you know what they say about good friends being those who don't get close enough to ruin it? Since you sign on and read what we have to say when you want to, we never intrude, never get in your way. That's what makes Internet friends so special.

Ever think about trying to get together in the material plane? There's a Yahoo group called "Yamsters" that was trying to organize regional gatherings. I haven't been in touch lately because I don't have the money for travel, but you might check it out.

It is an honor and a priviledge to be a part of such a wonderful group that are so different, and yet so alike. I think alot comes from the respect and unconditional love we share for the paths that we all have chosen!

As for all of the others, i think we shall leave the bickering, converting, and arguing to them. They seem to do it best. Bless Them All

I absolutely adore the unity we share and the sisterhood we experience when we are not only able to console one another, but are able to share our experience, strengths, and hope as well.

in spite of if or not you may have confidence your husband returned is between you and him. in straightforward terms time and different situations provides you with that answer, in case you go with for to stay with him. Your husband's motivations for disclosing a exclusive communication is stressful to be certain. He would have an "old boy's membership" mentality, the place adult adult males stick collectively and watch each and every others' backs. You stated that your father became prosperous, so your husband would have a financial time table, meaning entering into your father's stable component. must be, he thinks you're purely mendacity to him, and you try to blacken your father's call out of loyalty on your mom. A sit down-down, no-nonsense communicate is critical alongside with your husband, and you do not have the luxurious of sugar coating your questions, or attempting to be tactful, approximately why he betrayed your self assurance. Shoot immediately from the hip, and insist a proof, because of the fact he easily owes you one. If he will become evasive, refuses to talk approximately it, or tries to coach the challenge around on you and make you the "undesirable guy", then you relatively've a topic. If he can not be trusted, who's attentive to what different matters would upward thrust up in a protracted time in the marriage, and in case you prefer to salvage your marriage, you and your husband better come to a sparkling information of what's expected from one yet another.

it is reassuring to know that we have so much support from all our friends, whatever their beliefs, from Jon to one love, from zero cool to trinity, sunman to cosmic, and i could go on for a long time, but they all know who they are, and we are happy and proud to be your friend lady M!

it is good to share knowledge, and the veil is slowly lifting again, but there are those who have been brainwashed for too long that will try and drain your energies.. enjoy your summer, keep sending out the good vibes and positive thoughts, as they will seep through and influence people in subtle ways!
