OFGS...I don't want to go back cause I'm havin fun now....only now my knees wont let me surf any longer. When I was young there was a war in Europe and now there's a President's war in Iraq. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. People all over the world are still starving and killing each other so what is so "good old days" about that? The "good old days" is only an imaginary place. Live and Love and Laugh NOW.....it will all be somebody else's "good old days" sooner than you can say ...."Goodnight Mrs. Calabash, where ever you are!"....................................

The good old days was when the kids to go outside to play and be safe, and you didn't have to keep up with the Jones', and you could buy a big bad of lollies for 50 cents!
Where have they gone? I think the government kidnapped them!

That depends on which days you're asking about. I believe that 'baby-boomers', raised in the U.S. in the mid-20th century are among the most fortunate people in all of world history. There was a balance of innocence, shock-value, technology, romance, discipline, music, .....everything. ... I think that the notion that the days we live in now will become 'the good old days' someday, depends on the state of the world in the future.

Hell yeah they were.... no responsibility, no cares. How I long for those days.... You never miss your water to its dry.... your parents tried to tell ya not to wish to be grown up & to enjoy your childhood. Should have listened.
