If this is a retail-built PC (like Dell or HP) go to their website and look up the manual for your model (or call them). In the manual, you should see a listing for beep error codes. The pattern will tell you what's wrong. Most of the time, it's a bad power supply or memory, but it could be anything.

If the video card isn't on board, it incredibly would desire to be the video card. in the adventure that your motherboard additionally has an on board video chip/vga port, try connecting to that. additionally, verify your ram playing cards. they'd reason this difficulty if the common RAM card is going undesirable. in the adventure that your prevalent RAM card did bypass undesirable, you won't hear any blunders beaps. it incredibly is maximum no longer likely your motherboard or cpu, or you will no longer likely hear your tricky force working, because it incredibly is the motherboard and cpu that tell the tricky force to run. After various years in the industry, I incredibly have got here upon that when it incredibly is a foul CPU or Motherboard, your tricky force would not start up spinning. I incredibly have additionally got here upon that with some, yet no longer all, non-on board video playing cards they'd bypass undesirable without giving an blunders beep at boot up. some motherboards additionally won't beap whilst your prevalent RAM card has long gone undesirable, besides the undeniable fact that, some do. in case you do not have an on-board video card to attempt, you may try putting in a small 32-MB video card in case you have one available and spot if that works. in case you do not have one, try checking the RAM playing cards by using switching the spots they are in and spot if that works.

Remove your keyboard and check to make sure nothing extra is plugged into any USB port unless you need it. Then make sure theres no discs or floppies in your PC. If that does not work then its probably something like your Motherboard or Ram.
Sometimes if a keyboard is broken or has button jammed down etc that can cause problems booting a PC. Can you get into bios?

Try to reseat your memory modules or use only one at a time at the slot closest to the processor. You should be able to pinpoint the defective one. Replace it.

How warm is the room where your computer is? Mine does this sometimes because it is overheating. Shut down the computer and try again when it is cooler.
