I am completely aware...
A retired minister once told me that God sets out opportunities for you to grow...while the devil works twice as hard to set up opportunity for failure...which is easier...
I know this doesn't really answer your question but maybe it will shed light on the subject...

Evil is easier because its roots stay deeply engraved in human nature. When evil is done, it's usually easier because it's based on instincts and it comes from urges. In other words, it's natural.
Another reason could be the fact that every human has an ego, whether it's more extended or more limited for some. Every human nature contains in its subconscious/conscious drive an instinct of survival and self-protection. These instincts stimulate actions that are based on what we call evil.
On the other hand, humans are natively programmed to listen to and follow (above all) their natural urges rather than conform to rules that are dictated by an outer source. "Why should I study when I don't feel like it?" That's how the human drive works in its primitive form.
A much more evolved version of a human nature is one where the human drive is modified by awareness.

Sounds corny but Yoda said it true. Evil is easier, quicker, more seductive. It is a short-live advantage. In order to maintain that advantage, you need to continue that path and progressively escalate your efforts. It's like an addictive drug, short-term effort for short-term gain, often leaving you worse off in the long run, unable to break the cycle. Evil is also extremely selfish.
Good things take hard work, effort and dedication. The rewards are far greater and can often last a lifetime. If you believe in yourself, have faith in your dreams and the strength of will to persist, then you will achieve a euphoria better than any 'drug' or 'quick-and-dirty' act.

Anything that is easy to do will always be more popular than to do something that requires more effort.Have a look at the state of the world today with all its misery.Do you have the energy to try to put things right? .An impossible task, so why try.Free will given to us by God is the reason for all the misery in the world past, present and future.

Insightful question... my Star!!
Science talks of a natural flow from order to chaos..... something akin to order being on a higher plain needing extra effort and care to climb. This explains why creation is more difficult and time consuming than destruction and the same applies to good and evil deeds.
There is another way to understand this universal phenomenon. There are more number of alternate ways to reach an evil goal compared to a good one, because good is defined by rigid parameters which limit the possibilities.

to do evil is not always as simple as you think. we often have to deal with a very heavy conscious when we have done something wrong or we are about to do something wrong.
some people commit wrongful acts out of passion (not thinking). they become caught up in their emotions and before they realize what they have done, they have hurt someone or something.
evil is not easier it is just more seductive, and if you do not take care of your soul you will be seduced repeatedly until you become the very thing that is seducing you.

Evil is the absence of good. Doing the right thing takes effort: comparing alternatives, making choices, setting goals, planning and executing plans. "Doing" the wrong thing takes no effort at all; the absence of doing the right thing at any given time leads to, or permits, the existence of evil by default. Good is always productive for everyone concerned; evil is destructive by default (the second law of thermodynamics). Good demands the application of energy to prevent corruption (evil).

I think that has to do with your outlook. If you have been taught to be evil, it is easier to do that. If you have been taught to be good, it is easier to do that. We all do what is natural to us - a lot of people's good and bad, right and wrong, black and white, is completely relative. I might think it is bad, but someone else thinks it is good.

it's because doing good deeds is bounded by laws/norms. they always have these restrictions which keep such deeds from crossing the line and turning to bad deeds in the end. doing something bad on the other hand is as simple as doing anything without having to think about restrictions at all, hence things seem easier.
