I would think that they are pretty cool. Like Donnie Darko.

I think it would depend on whether you are the teacher/professor or a student in the class. The teacher should know about the psychiatrist in case something happened to that person in class. The students would not need to know. I doubt very much that the one leaving would wave and say, "Okay, guys! I'm going to see my shrink!"
If he does tell the class, fine. If he does not, he has every right not to say where he is going.

It's wonderful that they are getting the help they need. This is a medical problem and if they had cancer or diabetes you would want them to see a doctor. A person with a brain disorder needs support and friends. Try to offer to give them a copy of your notes on Tues. and Thurs. Be a pal not a gossipy jerk!!

I would be happy that they are getting the help they need to stop themselves from doing harm to themselves or others. I would also think that they are probably in need of a friend. Most people with problems are alone, or feel that way. You'd be surprised what a good friend can do for you...better than most therapists.

Nothing. There are a lot of people out in the world that need help with their problems. I give kudos to this person for seeing that they have a problem and getting the help they need. If you are their friend, then continue to be supportive. Don't pry, and don't reject them.

I wouldn't think less or more of them. B/c i see one, but just on thursdays, and i'm still in school. I wouldn't pry, but I would let them know that I there for them if they wanted 2 talk to me about something.

I would think nothing of it. I mean i would think that maybe they are going thru a tough time and that they are just needing someone to talk to. I also would tell them if they needed to talk about anything, i am there for them!
