If Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic Primary, (not saying that she will) is it legal for Bill Clinton to run with her as Vice President? I know that some Vice Presidents have become Presidents but I am not sure if it works the other way.

It's entirely legal.

The Constitution states that no person may be elected for more than two terms:

1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President, when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.

In other words, if Hillary were elected and Clinton became Vice, then he would be elected Vice President, not President, and the Amendment would not apply to him even if he were forced to take over as President.

If Hilliary Clinton wins, and I sure hope she does, Bill Clinton would not be able to run with her as Vice President. Why? Because 1) he has already ran for office for one full term, and 2) he was inducted out of office; and 3) for every Presidential Canidate that wins, there must be a first-lady; so with that being said, will Hilliary Clinton have a Beverly or will there be another Bill? My question in this answer is, how could that be possible for a female President to be President and there still be a first-lady? Wow! .... That's a darn good question within this answer. But anyways, Bill Clinton could not run with her as Vice-President because he has already ran a full term as President and he can't come back as a Vice-President.

There is no prohibition in the Constitution that a former President cannot run as Vice President. Thus, if Hillary Clinton runs as President and she can run with Bill Clinton as her Vice President.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Hillary will likely win.

No. He can't. Two main reasons why:

1) The Constitution requires a Vice Presidential candidate be eligible to become President. Thus you cant be Vice President if you don't qualify for the Presidency. Since he has served two terms as President he is uneligible.

2)The Constitution requires they President and Vice President come from different states. They both live in New York.

I disagree. I don't think he could be Vice-President because he's not qualified to be President, due to 2 prior terms. The main job of the VP is to be there if the President dies or is otherwise unable to serve.

He'll have to be satisfied to be First Gentlemen, serving a lot of tea!

Its legal but it will not happen because she'd lose many votes although she'd still win because of the fact that the United States can not handle another dimwit Republican as President.

In the case of her death they'd skip the usual procedure of Vice-President ascending to President.

i think the answer is no. the constitution makes him successor pres just in case. this makes the job impossiible for him. not the constitutional intent. i think he'll have plenty of influence anyway....don't worry.
