Nope I couldn't. My husband drives for a living and it enables us to talk on the phone whenever we want for however long we want. If we didn't have them he would have to use pay phones, and then only at night when he has stopped. Also, my vehicle is older and I like having the security of a cell phone when I'm on the highway. My daughter calls me when she can, I never know when that will be so I take my cell with me everywhere so I don't miss her call or my husband's call. They are too important to me to miss.

it addictive i know, but we went camping and were "out of range" the whole weekend and it was actually really nice. Not to be bothered by needless info! Think about it, how did we all get along without cells 20 years ago? Try leaving it a home and see how nice it is.

No, I couldn't. Especially since we got rid of our home phone. All we ever used was the cell phones and the land line only gave us telemarketers and wrong phone numbers. I feel naked without my cell.

I hate cell phones. I lived without them for 40 years. I have one now because I live on a mountain and it's a dangerous drive, but I seldom use it. I could give it up easily.

yes, i usually leave at home when i go out. One of my biggest pet peeves ever is people on cell phones in public places. I understand having them around for emergency situtations, they can be quite handy, but talking on public transit, in the grocery store, or wherever please spare the public & wait till you are home no one cares about your conversation and the one sided banter is really annoying!

I did fine in the 80's and 90's without one. I forget mine half the time anyways and sometimes it annoys me to death. I am glad I grew up earlier not find these new gadgets so addictive I guess.

no.. as a mother i'm always worried that someone would call me when i don't have it. or if i make plans the only way for my friends to reach me is via phone for the most part.
i feel like a limb is lost when i don't have it, or like i'm appart of an outcast group where no one communicates.
